Short Intro and About the Job

Reporting to the Sr Manager Finance SG&A, Assoc Manager manages SG&A reporting for several functions. He/she will work cross-functionally to update monthly results, annual planning, monthly forecast process. Given the nature of this role, the Assoc Mgr will have frequent exposure to senior management. This role can be based out of Louisville, CO or White Plains, NY!

Responsibilities:

    Serve as primary point of contact for budget owners across multiple business functions. Prepare monthly results analysis, build and maintain models for quarterly forecast updates and annual planning. Identify and present meaningful KPIs.
  • Work closely with various HR teams to accurately build out people cost models
  • Perform monthly pre-close / close tasks including working with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Prepare monthly reporting for local and global FP&A (Tagetik and other SAP tools)
  • Process monthly intercompany entries as needed, and collaborate with Finance teams across other businesses to ensure alignment
  • Involvement in Ad Hoc projects on an as needed basis
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvement opportunities, managing impacts depending on business context and priorities
  • Prepare presentations and assist in presenting findings to functional leadership
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • You have 4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally consumer-facing company (e.g., consumer packaged goods, retail)
  • You have proven experience in financial analysis, executive presentations and relationship building

The base compensation range for this position is $95k-115k commensurate with experience.   • You have a solid understanding of accounting concepts and HR concepts
  • You have strong system skills including data modeling, specifically with SAP, Tagetik, Excel, Power BI
  • You work well as part of a cross-functional team
  • You have a proven track record in working under tight deadlines
  • You have demonstrated ability to effectively interface, influence and build alignment with individuals and cross-functional teams at multiple levels
  • You have strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • You have proven organizational and time management skills
  • You have a solid analytical skillset, able to translate data and analysis into actionable changes
  • You have demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and make sound decisions
  • You are trustworthy and motivating with strong integrity
