Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, assembles and re-assembles pump systems including rework and testing for the rebuild process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

CUSTOM ASSEMBLY




  • Assembly of customer install racks to accommodate dry pump operations.



  • Assemble electrical cable and power panels.



  • Tests and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical assemblies and/or system components.



  • May complete rework and quality audits on assemblies and/or systems.



  • Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used during for the service of pumps.



  • Uses hand and power shop tools.



  • Checks power and hand tools for proper operation.



  • Ensure that all procedures and instructions are followed during the assembly and testing process.



  • Communicate all issues to Leads/Supervisor in a timely manner.



  • Maintain a safety goal of 100% (Essential)



  • Maintains clean and safe working environment compliant with EBARA safety policies. (Essential)



  • Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)



  • Perform other duties as assigned. (Non-essential)




Qualifications

Competency Statement(s)



  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. Ability to wear a respirator, hearing protection, gloves, and continually wear eye protection.
  • The ability to read and follow electrical/mechanical schematics and diagrams.
  • The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions.


Education



  • High School diploma or G.E.D., Associates degree or equivalent experience.


Experience




  • Preferred: Two (2) to Six (6) years of work related experience, preferably in the semiconductor, automotive, HVAC or related industry
  • Working knowledge of mechanical skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork
  • Demonstrated good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment


SKILLS & ABILITIES



  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Speaking in front of groups. Strong time management skills. Self-starter.
  • Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.
  • Working knowledge of material handling equipment.
  • Working knowledge of shipping and receiving protocol documents.
  • Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
