Position Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator focuses heavily on providing day to day administrative support to the HR team, special projects, and will be the first point of contact for employees. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, a commitment to confidentiality, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Dedication to customer service excellence and building positive relationships is essential.

Responsibilities:



  • Instrumental in the coordination and implementation of data, files and processing within the employee lifecycle to include onboarding, termination, and status changes.
  • Process employee and/or vendor credentials such as employment, background checks, and educational verifications, etc.
  • Encourages participation in HR-sponsored activities (i.e., engagement surveys, learning events, wellbeing events)
  • Ensures New Hire Paperwork is completed, processed, and maintained in a timely manner and performs I-9 verifications utilizing UKG.
  • Process all Change of Status forms for US locations.
  • Process all Separations for US locations (term packets, offboarding emails, exit interviews, term in all systems)
  • Works with HR department leaders to provide data; complete or respond to internal or external audit requests in a detailed and urgent manner.
  • Creates and maintains various HR-related files.
  • Responds to first line employee questions using knowledge of HR policies, programs, guidelines, and employment law knowledge. Refers to or seeks subject matter expert on more complex questions.
  • Utilize HRIS reporting tools to create routine and ad hoc reports; uses software office products to create reports in spreadsheets to track changes.
  • Responsible for the processing of departmental purchase orders/invoice processing as needed to ensure timely processing (Benefits Invoices, HR related invoices)
  • Ensures employee lab testing requirements are tracked and performed in accordance with OSHA requirements and that related documentation is filed in employee OSHA files.
  • Verification of Employment via Email & Phone.
  • Will support various general or specialized HR programs and initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in various HR related special projects and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and practices preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and have excellent organizational skills
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication for presenting orally or in writing to all levels of employees within the organization
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and the highest level of discretion
