The client's Music Growth and Cross Channel Marketing Personalization has an immediate opening for a Technical Program Manager. You will be responsible for developing and managing projects that affect new consumer-facing products and internal systems and tools. The projects require timely execution with the highest degrees of urgency and control. You will act as a bridge between many of the client's Music and broader teams. You will drive on-time and quality completion of the projects and communicate with all stakeholders and partners. The TPM will provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business. Business Group/Team Culture: - The Client's Music team - Top 3 music streaming services in the world - Offering provided across App, Personal AI, Desktop - Team specifically working on projects in 2 sub teams (cross channel marketing personalization): - Mission is to create 1:1 relationship with customers - do that through investments in marketing technologies as well as personalization layer and own channels. - The other side of the team is growth team: product led growth team (build, create, and monetize features in experiences to drive business KPI's) - Unlike other products teams who have roadmap and vision that is worked throughout the year: this team has a roadmap and vision but priorities change every week based on what is learned. - Enables them to drive high impact outcomes throughout the year - Best team to work with, if you are someone who appreciates working hard play hard culture. - Team of commanders (highly motivated, dive deep every day, care about the impact they are making for the business/customers) - Work with high vis (VP's, high stake holders) creates urgency but high visibility/attention - Very close knit team, very well bonded. Day to Day: - Scale up based on abilities Core responsibilities will be divided into two different metrics 1) Managing programs - Creating /Attending meetings talking to stakeholders and understand status of deliverables contributing towards the project. Ensure they are unblocked, are doing what they are supposed to do, communicate well, escalate if necessary to unblock, or use the tools/abilities to ensure they are being delivered - Meetings with stakeholders - Talking to different team members on Slack/email/ etc. - Writing docs - Sending communication emails 2) Dive Deep/Earn Trust on technical side - Products can be highly complex - Go to a space quickly, see how tech is working, gain command over technology so they can unblock by investing how to overcome challenges - Gain trust with stakeholders with dependencies, so they can help them. In scope: - Core team - every sub team under 2 sub teams - PM/Senior development manager working on dynamic messaging - Another PM/SDM working on driving customers to sign up to preview team - Ideally have TPM working and helping them with initiatives. - Working closely, help unblock team Larger scope: - Cost organizational initiatives that TPM should help with - Creating unauthenticated experience, so customers can listen to music without needing to sign in. Interaction level with team: - All hands where director of the group writes all hands - HM has 1 on 1's every week, might change if HM changes for contractor - HM has larger team so may change to 1 -2-week sync - Biweekly leads meeting (PPM, TPM,) Talk through progress on TPR's - HM has every month and half to discuss - Every core team has stand ups, 1:1's, each personal style. *Experience Level* 8+ years of experience. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.
