Salary: $62,000-$70,000/yr.

Job Summary

As the F&B Manager at Sanofi, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring that all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner according to established procedures, performance standards, and specifications. You will also manage the cafe, catering services, coffee bar, and the free snack/coffee program, delivering exceptional service and maintaining a hands-on approach in a multi-faceted environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures guest satisfaction through effective and efficient service, maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment.
  • Oversees and maintains accurate and complete paperwork relating to the operations.
  • Manages financial performance.
  • Responsible for ordering, accounting, and maintaining product and supply inventories. Ensures proper stock levels and manages inventory efficiently to avoid overstock.
  • Takes initiative to immediately act on violations of safety, sanitation, and security policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinates catering services, including managing orders via Catertrax, setting up and breaking down client meetings and events, and ensuring smooth operations of catering services.
  • Supports the free snack and coffee program and maintains accurate inventory.
  • Provides operational support to the small cafe, assisting with on-the-floor duties, invoicing, and day-to-day cafe activities.
  • Manages the free coffee and snack program, ensuring that snacks and beverages are consistently stocked and available to employees, maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with food cost management, inventory, labor costs, and operational budgets.
  • Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and collaborating with a diverse team.
  • At least 2 years experience in a high-volume fast-food or similar environment.
  • Customer service experience is a must, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Previous experience in catering or event management is highly preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience with day-to-day operations in food service, catering, and cafe management.
