Minimum Qualifications: Education: A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required. At The Salvation Army's discretion, a combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to the knowledge base achieved by the above standard is acceptable. Experience: Minimum two years' experience in an administrative support role; minimum two years' experience working with low-income and minority populations Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory Responsibility: Responsible for supervising AARP participants and volunteers Physical Requirements: Include speaking, hearing and vision ability; manual dexterity; lifting, pulling and pushing materials up to 25 pounds; bending, squatting, and walking; sitting for extended periods of time; standing for extended periods of time. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job. Travel: None Driving: Driving is not required but preferred. Staff with a valid license from the state of residence will apply for approval through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program. If approved, the candidate might be asked to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office environment.
