We are currently seeking an Urban Mobility Civil Engineer to join our growing Urban Mobility & Infrastructure group in our Minneapolis, MN or St. Paul, MN or possibly Madison, WI office. As an Urban Mobility Civil Engineer, you will be exposed to a wide variety of innovative and diverse projects, including the management of projects balancing pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle priorities; urban roadway projects; municipal infrastructure projects; and pedestrian / bicycle focused improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

* Technical Skills - Complete design and develop plans, specifications and cost estimates for roadway and trail projects.

* Project Management/Task Lead - effectively manage multi-disciplinary project teams or task management of larger projects for a wide range of urban mobility and infrastructure projects.

* Staff Supervision - provide for staff growth through nurturing staff in a respectful, collaborative approach that promotes individual professional growth and positive team spirit.

* Client Relationships and Marketing - Assist in the identification and pursuit of project opportunities resulting in securing work.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

* Related 4-year degree with 4+ years' relevant experience.

* Engineering Licensure or desire to pursue professional engineering licensure.

* Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.

* Aptitude in organizational, technical, and analytical skills.

* Capabilities in supervisory and team building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Highly preferred project experience in MicroStation - Open Roads Designer (ORD).

* Project work in the urban and suburban environment.

* Microsoft office suite experience.

* Interest or passion for involvement in the development of nationwide innovative urban mobility projects.

* Seeking someone who is a self-starter, collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication skills.

Salary Range: $89,000 - $110,000

Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
