Join our team as an HR Coordinator!
This is a hybrid role being onsite in Maple Plain, MN on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The HR Coordinator performs administrative duties for the HR Department. This position is responsible for HRIS data entry, maintaining employee records, file management, benefit administration, supporting talent acquisition, and providing HR administrative support to all employees.

You will:
  • Perform ongoing data entry into UKG and other required HR systems for all locations in U.S. Ensure integrity of data at all times.
  • Partner with local HR in all sites to establish and maintain efficiencies with gathering, inputting and auditing employee data. This includes new hires, job and salary changes, terminations, and other related employee data changes.
  • Document processes for all steps relative to data entry and ensure all partners are kept current on changes to processes. Look for opportunities to align processes across locations.
  • Send weekly U.S. new hire email notice including formatting new hire photos.
  • Work closely with the Benefits Administrator and Payroll Administrator to ensure data is accurate for ongoing benefit and payroll processing.
  • Conduct weekly audits of payroll preview report to confirm all employee changes, one-time payments, pay rates, differentials and other payroll-specific items are ready for payroll submission.
  • Collect and resolve simple to moderate data processing issues and questions. Work with the HRIS team regarding complex issues.
  • Review the HR Inbox daily and respond or forward questions and issues to appropriate field HR contact.
  • Work on projects related to adding paper documents to employee digital personnel files in UKG.
  • Process onboarding and offboarding tasks.
  • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Resolve benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations.
  • Track leave of absences and maintain accurate records for payroll and benefit files.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Support the talent acquisition process including open job requisitions and assisting with interview scheduling.
  • Submit online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions on HR policies, processes, employment verifications, etc.
  • Complete Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Conduct new hire orientations for designated location.
  • File documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files.
  • Manage the employee store and other employee gifts including but not limited to years of service, employee appreciation, new hire, and new baby gifts.
  • May assist with company events or other related activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
About you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field with 1 year of administrative experience OR equivalent Associates Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field with 5+ years of HR administrative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Demands:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear. Work Environment:
Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
