The Pennsylvania Insurance Department is seeking an ambitious Insurance Company Financial Analyst Manager to review the financial submission of Insurance Companies, which may include insurance holding company systems and affiliated non-insurance companies and other licensed or regulated entities. As an Insurance Company Financial Analyst Manager, responsibilities will entail supervising assigned staff and external contractors; determining section priorities and standards; developing, implementing, and evaluating program processes; interpreting laws, regulations, and policies; and managing workflow in order to meet timeliness, best practices, and quality standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of experience as an Insurance Company Financial Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Four years of professional accounting, auditing, financial investigation, financial compliance, or insurance market conduct experience; and a bachelor's degree in insurance, accounting, finance, statistics, economics, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field, which includes 15 credits in accounting, finance, or auditing; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 15 credits in accounting, finance, or auditing.
