Position Purpose:

The Marketplace Program Manager will manage the performance and execution of Petco's participation in third party marketplace platforms. This role will partner closely both internally and externally to grow Petco's existing businesses, as well as form new partnerships. The ideal candidate is data-driven with strong analytical skills understanding the balance between growing the business and maintaining a strong customer experience.

Essential Job Functions: The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Owns day-to-day relationships that enable Petco's business on third party marketplaces. Collaborates externally to develop new opportunities for Petco via both new and existing partnerships. Utilizes data to support problem solving to execute against Petco' long-term business objectives related to the growth and profitability on third party marketplaces. Provides timely project updates to senior leadership highlighting key initiatives, changes, and financial impacts. Executes cross-functionally with Merchants, Supply Chain, Store Operations, IT, and other business partners to maintain operational performance. Manages and reports on key inputs of business growth including, but not limited to, assortment offered on platforms, operational performance, and merchandising strategy.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Performs additional duties as required.

Provides coverage and support for other members of the Digital Fulfillment Team and broader digital teams as needed.

Nature of Supervision

The role will be given clear direction and objectives and will be expected to execute appropriately.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will not have direct reports.

Education/Experience

Normally requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in business, operations, or related field.

Professional experience in relevant digital, supply chain, or retail preferred. Strong interpersonal and judgment skills will be required to influence cross-functional partners.
