Taylor Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Vice President, Enterprise Systems and Digital Transformation to lead the consolidation, planning, development, and maintenance of enterprise information systems that support key business functions such as order-to-cash, order management, manufacturing resource planning (MRP), shop floor data collection, and ancillary sub-systems. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this role is pivotal in driving our enterprise-wide digital transformation initiative (code name: Horizon) and ensuring seamless system migrations, modernization, and alignment with business objectives. This leadership position will oversee the future enterprise technology stack, including Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Oracle Transportation Management System (OTMS), and other critical applications. The role also involves managing legacy ERP platforms during their transition to modern systems. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, vendor management, enterprise portfolio oversight, and fostering strong partnerships across business units. Direct customer interaction is an expectation during the selling process, account onboarding projects, system upgrades and when needed Incident Response communications. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership
Drive the enterprise digital transformation journey by consolidating and modernizing ERP/MRP platforms to align with organizational goals. Develop roadmaps for platform architecture, application development, quality assurance (QA), and user community engagement across multiple plants. Provide quarterly updates to the executive board on transformation progress and system operations.
Technology Oversight
Lead the implementation of Oracle Fusion applications, CPQ, OTMS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other tools. Manage multi-generation ERP platform support during system migrations and legacy platform retirement. Oversee private cloud development for value-added applications and API integrations with Oracle Fusion. Stay current with emerging technologies such as AI to enhance developer productivity and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with business unit leaders to align technology initiatives with sales growth and operational efficiency objectives. Collaborate with customer-facing technology teams to ensure shared architecture, data modeling, and interface compatibility between old and new systems. Work closely with compliance teams to ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, IT governance policies, and industry best practices.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
Lead a global team of technology specialists, including off-shore resources, to deliver high- quality services and support for enterprise systems. Manage vendor relationships for core technologies and services while balancing build-vs- buy decisions for software tools. Foster staff development through recruitment, training, and mentorship programs.
Operational Excellence
Ensure seamless integration of multi-plant operations through effective ERP deployments. Drive compliance with reporting standards in collaboration with the Enterprise Business Intelligence team (Power BI experience a plus). Prepare operating plans and manage budgets in alignment with enterprise portfolio governance processes.
Qualifications: Required Skills & Experience
20+ years of experience in information technology with at least 15 years in leadership roles. Proven expertise in ERP consolidations, implementations, and migrations within complex organizations. Strong understanding of modern API methods, techniques, and integration strategies. Experience managing multi-generational ERP platforms during transitions to target systems.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Expertise in Oracle Fusion applications (ERP/SCM), CPQ, OTMS, OIC tools, or similar platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft application development tools. Background in print manufacturing or related industries is a plus. Experience working within matrixed leadership structures or shared service environments.
Additional Competencies
Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams globally (off-shore experience preferred). Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to executive leadership and board members effectively. Strategic thinker capable of aligning IT initiatives with broader business objectives.
Travel Requirements
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $270,000-280,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
