Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Compliance Operations Support Specialist to join our team and support the government customer's Office of Compliance for Cyber and Operations. This highly impactful role offers the opportunity to contribute to a compliance program that supports the operational mission of our government customer, ensuring that operations are carried out within the framework of laws, policies, and strategic objectives.

As the Senior Compliance Operations Support Specialist, you will be a key player in maintaining compliance and streamlining operations for a critical National Security program. You will be responsible for monitoring, triaging, and processing incoming requests, creating new actions, and ensuring that tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This role involves the use of cutting-edge tools like Track-It, JIRA, Confluence, and other systems to maintain documentation, track progress, and support decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders and contribute to the overall success of high-profile government operations.

Key Responsibilities:

    Quality Control & Monitoring: Oversee incoming requests, ensuring quality control and successful processing through to closure.

  • Action Generation & Coordination: Analyze incoming requests and generate new actions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and compliance.

  • Documentation Management: Draft, format, and facilitate coordination of Standard Process Forms (SPFs) and official responses. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, tracking spreadsheets, decision memos, and other critical records.

  • Government Decision Support: Analyze, summarize, and present key points relevant to government decision-makers. Ensure that decision-making processes are supported with clear, concise information.

  • Meeting & Agenda Management: Prepare meeting agendas, facilitate meetings, record decisions, and track follow-on actions to completion.

  • Reporting & Metrics: Collect, compile, and report statuses and metrics related to compliance and operations.

  • Training & Mentorship: Lead the training of new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to succeed.

  • Web Development & Documentation: Assist in designing and creating web pages, data storage mechanisms, and documentation for new and existing procedures.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the design and implementation of new operating methods to improve the processing, distribution of information, and overall process controls.

The Senior Compliance Operations Support Specialist is crucial in ensuring that operations run smoothly, in full compliance with regulations, and in a manner that supports national security missions. You will directly influence the success of mission-critical operations by ensuring quality control, maintaining documentation, and fostering collaboration across various stakeholders. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Qualifications

  • Experience must include performing compliance, legal, auditing, or related work, and can also include working in an area directly related to the collection, intelligence and cybersecurity industry.
  • The amount of experience required is based on the candidate's qualifying degree in Degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or a related field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Management and Information Technology):
    • Seven (7) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree OR
    • Five (5) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR
    • Three (3) years of relevant experience and a Master's Degree OR
    • Nine (9) years of relevant experience without a qualifying degree
  • TS/SCI with poly required

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
