The Challenge

The Adobe Document Cloud Data Science team is looking for a hardworking and self-motivated Software Quality Engineer with proven industry experience testing mobile applications who can apply quality assurance and help us build solutions that will drive the success of our Document Cloud business. This is an outstanding opportunity for you to join a highly motivated team that is innovating, evolving, and building creative features for Adobe Scan used by millions of users.

A successful candidate will become a key contributor on a team with high quality standards. You'll make use of your excellent interpersonal skills to communicate ideas and influence others. You will help drive overall quality and influence product direction, working closely with engineers to ensure we are delivering high-quality features providing accountability and ownership for everything you do.

What you'll do
  • Design, develop, and implement test strategies for applications in iOS and Android platforms.
  • Build comprehensive testing plans, test cases, test data, and testing documentation.
  • Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for testing machine learning models and computer vision algorithms on mobile devices.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and accuracy of models integrated in mobile app.
  • Conduct performance testing and evaluate the efficiency and speed of machine learning algorithms in mobile environments.
  • Monitor and report bugs, defects, and performance issues in detail, track and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering groups to develop new products and features.

What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years in software quality assurance with experience in testing computer vision models and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with testing tools for continuous integration, build automation, and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitHub).
  • Knowledge of performance and scalability testing for mobile applications.
  • Understanding of mobile device behaviors and constraints related to computer vision and machine learning (e.g., memory, processing power, battery usage).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The U.S. pay range for this positionis $92,900 -- $183,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
