Vizient Intern Program Overview: This program is intended to create a beneficial relationship and growth opportunity for Vizient, our employees, and collegiate students. Since 2000, our summer intern program has provided college undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate students with practical experience that exposes them to multiple aspects of a career field and the healthcare industry. This full-time, paid intern program offers an opportunity to accelerate academic learning, apply classroom knowledge, and introduce students to a professional setting. Interns are assigned a supervisor to mentor/develop business skills and monitor work experiences. Interns are part of the company's team, setting goals, working toward deadlines, and participating in community service projects. The program requires the intern to commit to 10 weeks of participation in all formal training, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and opportunities to interact with senior leaders. * The program starts June 2, 2025, and ends August 8, 2025. * 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $24 per hour. What we will do: We provide the tools and training necessary to succeed, as well as provide intentional development opportunities such as: * Exposure to senior leadership to discuss the project, strategy, and milestones. * Network opportunities with cross-functional teams to learn about various areas within the organization. * Personalized strengths coaching. * Participate in company meetings and key culture events. * Value-added project management skills. * Intern-led community impact project and various team-building activities outside of work. What you will do: The role will focus on supporting Vizient clients that are members of Captis with clinical data insight innovation projects, mainly working with clinical outcome data for internal and external stakeholders. The position will involve presenting data and project updates to clinical executives and internal teams and partnering with service provider teams to provide updates on the progress of various initiatives. Additionally, the role will support foundational tasks that align with the organization's larger strategic goals. Tasks: 1. Support the Clinical Data Insights project by working with clinical outcome data and ensuring it is effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders. 2. Prepare and present data and project updates to clinical executives and internal teams. 3. Collaborate with service provider teams to deliver data and project updates in alignment with project goals. 4. Assist in foundational tasks contributing to the organization's larger key strategies. 5. Support innovation projects to ensure smooth execution and stakeholder engagement. 6. Basic analytics support and member tracking (documentation). What you will need: * Enrolled in a four-year accredited college, university, or graduate program in good academic standing. * Must have completed the sophomore year as an undergraduate before the start of the internship or recently completed your degree. * Basic understanding of working in a hybrid environment, workplace ethics, and effective communication. * Good organization and planning skills, and demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation based on past work or school experiences. * Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to analyze and synthesize information for problem-solving are preferred. * Strong interpersonal skills for interacting across the team and potentially with internal Vizient business partners, external members, and suppliers.
