Summary of Duties

As an active member of the Management Team, the Clinical Program Manager is responsible for the clinical program on the Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric units. This position ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and service consistent with the facility's goals and objectives and actively participates in a leadership role by consulting with facility management in designing and providing total patient care and services. The Clinical Program Manager will also serve as back up for Assistant Clinical Director as needed.

Responsibilities include; oversight and scheduling of group therapy on each unit, oversight of clinical interns, and training of staff and interns in clinical and programmatic processes.

The Clinical Program Manager will complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions as needed.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, nursing, or related degree required.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a healthcare setting or managed care company, with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, psychoeducation and psychotherapy process groups, and utilization management, or case management.
  • Licensure: LCSW independent licensure required
  • Additional Requirements: Valid CPR card upon hire. Successful completion of Handle with Care including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures. Ability to supervise at the licensure level through AZBBHE.
  • Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Skills: Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience required. Advanced working knowledge of clinical information systems (Cerner) preferred. Mentoring/leadership experience. Ability to collaborate with clinicians to discern software specifications, hardware requirements, and process improvement workflows. Must be comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and clinicians at all levels. Additional skills desired for the position include general IT knowledge that includes basic troubleshooting skills of computers, laptops, networks, and peripherals (printers, microphones, scanners, etc.) Language proficiency in English, with excellent written/verbal communication skills and good presentation skills.
