Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk

Staffmark is seeking an organized and motivated Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk to join our team in West Monroe, LA. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth processing of invoices and payments. Pay: $15 - $18/hr. (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

In this role, you will accurately process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring financial documents such as invoices and statements are reconciled. You will promptly resolve any billing or payment discrepancies and support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Additionally, you'll work closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations. You will also utilize financial software such as SAP or Oracle to manage transactions and generate reports.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably in a service-based industry.
• Proficient in financial software (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
• Effective communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and resolving issues.
