Fabrication Specialist job details include: Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm Pay rate: $15 - $22/hr. (Depending on experience) Responsibilities: Fabricate and assemble structural metal products following job orders, blueprints, and instructions Develop layouts and plan sequences of operations using knowledge of trigonometry and metal properties Mark bending and cutting lines on workpieces with precision Set up and operate fabricating machines like welders, brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses Design and construct templates and fixtures for production needs Verify workpiece conformance to specifications using measuring tools like squares, rulers, and tape measures Operate additional machine tools like radial drill presses, lathes, CNC machines, and punch presses as needed Qualifications: At least two years of experience in welding and fabrication.
