Brazing Supervisor - Lead with Precision in Heat Treatment!

Staffmark is hiring an experienced Brazing Supervisor in Rancho Dominguez, CA, to oversee employees performing essential functions in assigned departments. With five years of experience in heat treating or a related industry, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the proper care and treatment of customer inventory while maintaining safety and quality standards. Pay: $26-$35 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday with opportunities for overtime

Brazing Supervisor Responsibilities:



  • Oversee department operations to ensure safety, accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend effective solutions.
  • Supervise and guide employees in assigned work areas, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Train and mentor department employees while effectively communicating customer requirements and company objectives.
  • Monitor work in progress and collaborate regularly with foremen and management to maintain productivity.
  • Operate, control, and monitor heat-treating equipment as needed.
  • Promote and uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in heat treating or related industry.
  • Familiar with the machining tolerances with brazing application and commonly used industry-standard brazing alloys including copper, silver, and gold.
  • Advanced knowledge of heat treating, testing, commercial/aircraft/aerospace materials, and of metallurgy, temperatures, etc.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed and obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks (sit, stand, walk, bend, pull, reach, etc.) and lift 50 pounds.
