Your Role

The Associate Director of IT Integration Platform (EAI) Architecture and Operations is responsible for leading the strategy, design, and management of enterprise integration platforms. This role ensures seamless connectivity across applications, data, and business processes while driving operational excellence, security, and scalability.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute the enterprise integration strategy, ensuring alignment with business and IT objectives.

  • Define and maintain integration architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.

  • Create a 3 to 5-year Technology Roadmap for real-time, near-real-time, batch, MFT and event driven Integrations.

  • Drive innovation by incorporating emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and cloud-native integrations.

  • Design and implement B2B/EDI integration strategies to support seamless data exchange with trading partners, vendors, suppliers, and 3PL providers.

  • Manage integration platform lifecycle, including upgrades, patching, and capacity planning for, but not limited to, IBM, Axway, MuleSoft, and Globalscape technologies.

  • Implement EDI, API, and managed file transfer (MFT) solutions to streamline business transactions with external partners and logistics providers.

  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, especially in handling partner integrations.

  • Act as a key liaison between IT and business leaders to drive digital transformation initiatives.

  • Partner with B2B trading partners, 3PLs, and supply chain providers to optimize data exchange processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Work with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and scalable integration solutions.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

  • 8+ years of experience in IT integration, architecture, and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong expertise in enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with IBM integration technologies (IBM App Connect, IBM API Connect, IBM MQ Series), Axway API Management, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform preferred.

  • Experience in B2B/EDI integration (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and managed file transfer (MFT) solutions.

  • Experience integrating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, supply chain systems, and external vendors.

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud integration strategies.

  • Experience implementing DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation in integration processes.

  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance in integration solutions.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus.
