About the Role: We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance associate to join our Fabrics Quality team. In this role, you will own the supplier quality relationship for a specific supplier or category of materials. This involves driving and prioritizing initiatives, issue resolution, metrics/scorecards, quality agreements, supplier corrective action requests, supplier waivers, raw material specification development, audits, and development of SOP/process surrounding supplier quality.

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Pay and Benefits:



  • $80,000 - $111,000 per year

Responsibilities:



  • Perform supplier qualification activities including conducting audits, working with suppliers to help them understand quality requirements and close gaps in their quality systems or processes
  • Drive supplier risk assessment evaluation, developing mitigation plans, and their execution for quality supply chain risks during commercialization phase in partnership with a cross-functional team
  • Perform supplier-related activities such as defining performance metrics, completing and evaluating supplier score cards, monitoring activities, continuous improvement, etc
  • Use quantitative analysis to identify high-risk suppliers and develop strategies for mitigating risks in supplier quality systems
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on material problems to reduce and/or eliminate impact on the supply chain
  • Create and close Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and internal corrective actions
  • Identify and drive implementation of supplier management continuous improvement changes in the quality-management system
  • Ensurethat execution within the Supplier Management processes (evaluation,selection, and monitoring) iseffective, efficient, andcompliant

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years' work experience in quality assurance
  • Demonstrated experience with quality processes such as NC, SCAR, MOC
  • Demonstrated experience with problem solving skills and tools
  • Proven experience working effectively in team situations and as an individual contributor
  • Experience driving projects to successful completion
  • Experience performing internal, external, or supplier audits and risk assessments
  • Demonstrated networking and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel at least 15%, including international travel



Desired Qualifications:



  • Certified Lead Auditor certificateand/or ASQ Supplier Quality Professional Certification (CSQP)
  • Experience in textiles industry
