What to Expect The Remanufacturing Technician reports to the Team Supervisor. This personis responsible fordeterminingthe root failures of complex electromechanicalassemblies, andrepairing/remanufacturing those products to specification. The Reman Tech tests and analyzes the devices, and then follows provided process instructions, schematic diagrams, and mechanical drawings to perform the repairs. They also work with engineers and technicians toidentifynew failure modes, implement corrective/preventive actions, help develop new repair instructions, and work to hand-written and verbal instructions when necessary. Reman Techs use precision measurement devices, hand tools, and computer-based electrical test equipment and databases to analyze and repair product and subassemblies. A Reman Tech should be comfortableidentifyingknownissues, andshould be able to apply critical thinking skills todeterminepotentialnew issues.
