Summary:

We are actively hiring a full-time Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about crafting meaningful solutions that deeply impact people's lives. Bamboo Health supports a number of customer facing web-based applications that facilitate care coordination. As a member of the team, you will validate all tiers[SG1] of our application and have the opportunity to explore new technologies and approaches as we continue to expand our services. You should love to pursue tough problems and are constantly searching for elegant solutions while striving for excellence.

What You'll Do:

* Collaborate closely with your team and engineering leadership to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance are met

* Work closely with the product team to ensure customer needs are met

* Contribute to automated testing suites

* Develop test plans

* Perform testing for both new development and release regressions

* Anticipate and plan for the next generation of software products

What Success Looks Like...

In 3 months...

* Become familiar with our business domain, testing process, and automation codebase

* Ask questions and build healthcare industry knowledge

* Develop new automated test cases and enhance existing ones

* Perform feature testing and release regression

In 6 months...

* Consistently meet quality assurance expectations

* Independently implement complex automated testing scenarios

* Gain a deeper understanding of our applications and systems

In 12 months...

* Suggest ideas for testing improvements and technical enhancements

* Participate in the automation design process

* Be a strong partner to product team

What You Need:

* 5+ years of Java or similar software development

* Working knowledge of automated testing frameworks using BDD, test scenario writing, and test case management

* Familiarity with source control systems, build tools, and software development practices

* Experience with SQL queries for data validation and testing

* Understanding of application logging fundamentals and experience using log monitoring tools

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.

* Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.

Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.

* Cucumber BDD test automation framework

* TestRail for test case management

* Modern Java, Kotlin, JavaScript

* GitHub, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins

* Multiple services that communicate using both Kafka and REST APIs

* MySQL relational databases

* ElasticSearch and other document-oriented databases

* AWS cloud environment

* Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform for deployment
