Carl Zeiss Vision Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Engineer in Hebron, KY. 40 hours/week. Duties: Support validation and qualification of new technologies and processes - Total Quality (TQ), Target Value (TV). Develop smart industry concepts in collaboration with local and Global team. Implement and maintain Production, Planning & Control (PCP). Prepare and implement automated statistical process control charts and report deviations. Analyze/investigate quality issues, ensure corrective actions are taken and report findings are recorded. Use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns. Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures. Use statistical analysis of data and prepare process control chart, report deviations and predict trends. Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy- to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs. Analyze/investigate quality issues, ensure corrective actions are taken and report findings are recorded. Perform Product/Process audits to ensure product quality is in alignment with specified requirements. Evaluate the customer complaints and Internal scraps to update Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA). Develop work instruction (WI) as required by Quality Management System (QMS) to support operation. Follow safety standards and reports any safety concerns to leadership. Do you qualify? MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering or related field. Requires 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation such as Production Eng., Manufacturing Eng., Industrial Eng., Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Environment and Health Safety Engineer, or other related role. 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Suite; 2 years of Applications Experience with analytic software systems such as Minitab; 2 years of experience in quality assurance environment; 2 years of experience utilizing Quality Assurance measuring and testing equipment. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering or related field. Requires 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation such as Production Eng., Manufacturing Eng., Industrial Eng., Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Environment and Health Safety Engineer, or other related role. 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Suite; 2 years of Applications Experience with analytic software systems such as Minitab; 2 years of experience in quality assurance environment; 2 years of experience utilizing Quality Assurance measuring and testing equipment.
