Embed in target Tulsa Public HIgh Schools who are participating itn eh TCC Dual Credit Programs AAS Engineering Technology pathway. These schools have high rates of econoically disadvantaged and underserved students. Will assist with transition support, academic and soft skill support (ex. Study skills and time management), and college readiness within the school day.
This is a grant funded position.
Essential Duties
Deliver interventions in coordination with Dual Credit staff and high school staff.
Assist in events for AAS students.
Maintain records for student' progress and intervention.
Assist in recruiting and retention of students.
Develop competency in communicating the AAS degree path and expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
Three years' experience in high school, higher education or similar grant-funded program (such as Upward Bound}; knowledge of college policies, tutoring protocols, ADA and FERPA; ability to work in a collaborative workplace; ability to work independently; reliable transportation, and project management experience, basic Excel/MS Word.
