Job Title: Scheduler/Inventory Planner/Planning Specialist (Defense or Aerospace Environment) Location with zip code: 12838 Saticoy Street North Hollywood CA 91605 Duration: 6 Months Pay rate range: $30-$36/hr. on W2 without benefits Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day Summary: Maintain effective control of the backlog from order entry through shipment. Ensure each order is planned and acted upon promptly while providing as much visibility as required for a smooth flow of material. Role & Responsibilities: Liaison with Contracts on loading and lead-time of all new Sales Orders. Monitor the sales backlog for his/her planner code. Time is allowed to Kit/Inspection and shipping within expected TAT. Coordinates the purchase and planning of materials required to meet the Production schedule. Review MRP order action messages, maintain schedule and visibility, identify and resolve issues until shipment. Field of Study/Area of Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Planning 5 years of experience in the production control field, including material/inventory management in a defense or aerospace environment. Skills Required: Knowledge of JDE MRP system extremely helpful. Past MRP / ERP experience is a must. SAP knowledge desirable.
