General Construction Planner/Estimator Job ID JR101756 Date posted 03/28/2025 ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW Within the Facilities & Operations (F&O) directorate, the Facility Operations Center (FOC) plays an important role in ensuring seamless and efficient facility management, providing a wide range of support services, including small-scale construction planning and management, managing an emergency call center to address urgent facility-related concerns and provide immediate assistance, administering and optimizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for streamlined work order processing, asset management, and efficient resource allocation, overseeing the development and coordination of preventative maintenance, as well as collecting and analyzing data to develop key performance metrics that drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service delivery. POSITION DESCRIPTION The FOC is hiring a Planner/Estimator who will be responsible for the planning, estimating, scheduling, and oversight of workers and subcontractors to execute maintenance, repairs, installations, and small-scale construction/demolition projects. The position requires a strong background with at least ten (10) years of general construction experience, with familiarity with all trade disciplines. The ideal candidate should possess a deep knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines, as well as expertise in reading drawings and schematics and applying various estimating standards. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
