Position Title: CNC Machinist/Programmer
Wage: $28-$35/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 7am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-11pm QPS Employment Group is hiring CNC Machinists/Programmers at a company in Ixonia, WI. CNC Machinist/Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision parts for conveyor systems - Create and modify programs using G-code to optimize efficiency and accuracy - Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and reduce downtime - Train and mentor machinists on programming, setup, and operational best practices - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure precise machining - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC equipment - Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve manufacturing processes - Ensure all work meets quality control standards and adhere to company and industry specifications CNC Machinist/Programmer Requirements: - Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Proficiency in programming and operating both CNC lathes and mills - Strong knowledge of G-code programming - Ability to train and mentor team members on CNC machining processes - Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) is a plus - Familiarity with conveyor system components manufacturing preferred - Previous experience in a leadership or training role within a machining environment preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
