Position Description

The Director of Cardiovascular (CV) Product Management at Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT) will lead product management and marketing for the cardiovascular portfolio, including Angiograph Contrast Injectors, Intravascular Imaging and Physiology. This role is responsible for developing and executing the global product strategy, go-to-market plans, product lifecycle management, and business opportunity assessments to drive market success. The Director will lead a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the portfolio's commercial growth and long-term sustainability.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Product Portfolio Management



  • Develop and drive the global product strategy for the BMT cardiovascular portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and business objectives.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, including product development, commercialization, and portfolio optimization.
  • Engage with key customer and functional stakeholders to identify unmet clinical and business needs, translating insights into strategic recommendations.


Go-to-Market Strategy & Commercial Execution



  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and commercial success.
  • Lead efforts to gain customer insights and collaborate with sales, clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams to develop positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
  • Lead the development of value propositions, pricing models, and commercial enablement tools to maximize market impact.
  • Oversee product launch plans and Limited Market Releases (LMRs) as part of the commercialization process.


Portfolio Roadmap & Product Development



  • Oversee the creation and execution of a long-term product roadmap, prioritizing investments in new technologies, product enhancements, and adjacent opportunities.
  • Partner with R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams to align product innovation with evolving market needs Collaborate on product development and market readiness.


Financial & Business Performance Management



  • Lead forecasting and financial planning, including investment cases, commercial targets, and margin analysis.
  • Develop pricing strategies that optimize growth and profitability while ensuring competitiveness.
  • Monitor product performance, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-informed decision-making.


Team Leadership & Talent Development



  • Lead a team of product managers, fostering professional growth and functional excellence.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for achieving business objectives.
  • Advocate for a culture of innovation, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Minimum



  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in medical device product marketing
  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving successful product commercialization
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with strong stakeholder management
  • Strong ability to leverage market, financial, and competitive insights to guide strategic decision-making
  • Expertise in assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy


  • Proven experience in developing and executing long-term marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and execution using data-driven insights
  • Forward-thinking approach to technology adoption, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness


  • Strong ability to integrate analytics, performance metrics, and customer insights into strategic planning


  • Understanding of medical technology, clinical workflows, and industry regulations
  • Ability to ensure regulatory adherence in marketing initiatives
  • Deep understanding of healthcare professionals, patient pathways, and procurement processes


  • Ability to translate customer insights into compelling marketing and commercial strategies


Preferred:



  • MBA
  • Experience with cardiovascular technologies
  • Experience with capital equipment and software commercialization

  • Ability to travel 35%


Compensation & Total Rewards:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $195,000 - $210,000

*Estimated Starting Salary Range is reflective of the range Bracco Medical Technologies reasonably expects to pay for the position. The range provided is based on salary and market data specific to the position.
