WHO WE ARE
The team is very collaborative unit dedicated to the evolution of cyber security and are currently undergoing a shift towards Zero Trust Architecture and tooling giving the applicant the opportunity to engage and learn the latest and greatest security operations tools.

WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
As a Security Engineer, you will:



  • Perform the management of a mid-sized Checkpoint firewall environment
  • Manage, research & report upon vulnerabilities Monitor/review security logs
  • Conduct periodic security assessments and report to management on the overall health of the security landscape
  • Perform operational management activities of assigned security tools (i.e. Vulnerability Management, SIEM, Endpoint, Anti-Virus, firewalls, IPS, etc.)
  • Participate as a member of the Incident Response team
  • Create detailed documentation of operating procedures, diagrams and operational metrics



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:



  • Bachelor's Degree or four years of professional experience
  • At least 5 years of expereince in an information technology role
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience managing Endpoint Security Tooling such as Trellix, SentinalOne, McAfee, Crowdstrike, etc.
  • At least 1 yearexperience working with AWS



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have:



  • AWS Security or Operational experience
  • Checkpoint CCSA certification Checkpoint Certified (CCSA, CCSE, etc)
  • Minimum of 5 years information security experience
  • Broad background in Information Technology
  • Working knowledge of network protocols
  • Experience participating as a member of an Incident Response team
  • Involvement with Vendor Risk assessments
  • Experience with security policy and standards creation, interpretation, and maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with diverse technology and business partners

  • This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work both on-site at Hallmark's Headquarters and virtually from your residence in the Kansas City, MO metropolitan area.
