Sr Manager ECPMO Governance
The Sr Manager ECPMO Governance will lead a team responsible for overseeing and guiding activities to manage Change Issues and maintain an inventory of standardized responses to Second Line of Defense (SLOD), Third Line of Defense (TLOD) and Regulators. This role will own ECPMO policies to ensure alignment to enterprise-wide policies. This role will also own all ECPMO Issues, Change Action Plans and will partner with stakeholders within the organization on any ECPMO dependencies.
This role will support all ECPMO governance processes such as RCSA and audit activities. This leader will also provide final review and approval for any governance audits or other inquiries in partnership with the Director, Program Office.
Position Responsibilities:
Program Governance Functions


  • Lead a team that will maintain an inventory of standardized responses to internal and external stakeholders, own ECPMO policies and ensure alignment to enterprise policies.
  • Own all ECPMO Issues, Change Action Plans and will partner with enterprise stakeholders on any ECPMO dependencies.
  • Lead a team that will develop and implement a standardized governance framework which includes control of the target operating model.
  • Lead a team that will support and gather audit, action plans, RCSA and other regulatory deliverables as well as program monitoring at an enterprise level.
  • Formulate, update, and enforce change management policies and standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of governance controls to ensure changes are managed in a controlled, predictable manner.
  • Review and monitor the creation of an intake request process as well as an escalation process as it relates to any audit requests.
  • Partner with the Director, Program Office to review critical requests and any escalations.
  • Lead a team that will analyze key data points to monitor the overall health of the program efforts, customer incidents and other metrics where possible.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective measures as it relates to governance.
  • Establish and maintain measurable program performance with a governance lens.
  • Develop the procedures, controls documents, and artifacts to operationalize the governance program within the ECPMO.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all change requests, their status, outcomes, and any lessons learned.
  • Produce reports on change management activities, including metrics on change success rates, issues, and risks.
  • Provide coaching for team to ensure that deliverables are timely and that stakeholders expectations are met.


Risk Management and Continuous Improvement


  • Ensure all changes comply with internal policies, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This might include auditing changes for compliance or working with compliance teams to validate adherence.
  • Regularly review and update governance policies and procedures based on feedback, audit findings, or changes in organizational context or technology.
  • Drive improvements to make the change management process more efficient and effective.
  • Engage with senior management, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that governance aligns with strategic objectives and that there's buy-in for the change management process.
  • Work across different departments or teams to ensure change initiatives are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination to avoid silos and ensure a holistic approach to change management.


ECPMO Partnership


  • Partner with other ECPMO leaders and partners to gather feedback and requirements to ensure the governance process supports the overall ECPMO and other supported areas.
  • Facilitate alignment between the ECPMO leaders on the overall Governance of the ECPMO.
  • Participate in ECPMO leadership meetings to align overall Governance strategies across the ECPMO.
  • Work with key stakeholders to align change management practices with business objectives and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure clear communication about changes, audits, governance decisions, and issue statuses across the ECPMO.


Leadership


  • Direct managerial and HR responsibilities and team development for direct reports.
  • Assign and prioritize tasks, projects, and activities.
  • Ensures that the team adheres to approved governance framework.
  • Manage and develop team cultivating a spirit of one team with shared goals and objectives.
  • Select, motivate, and retain high performing talent.
  • Provide on-going feedback to maximize overall performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance, Operations Management or other related degrees OR High School/GED with 8 years of Project Change/Management experience
  • 8 years of experience in procedure management, process management, process improvement or a related role. Strong focus on managing relationship with senior internal stakeholders
  • 8 years of experience managing and maintaining a governance program
  • 8 years of experience prioritizing multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow, while achieving committed results on time
  • 6 years of experience implementing end-to-end enterprise level business process management alongside of enabling systems implementation
  • 6 years of experience using analytics and data to make sound recommendations
  • 5 years of experience managing others
  • 4 years of experience in process analysis and improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six sigma
  • 4 years of experience managing medium to large scale enterprise-level projects, including system implementation and cross/departmental initiatives
  • 4 years of experience in banking, financial services, or related business experience (preferred)

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager. Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
