Responsibilities

You are an expert facilitator: you open doors, foster communication, and bridge the gap.
In this role, you will manage daily activities that support appropriate patient reimbursement for products in provider offices. You will also serve as a liaison to other patient assistance and reimbursement support services. You will:
  • Provide live one-on-one support to address questions about coverage requirements
  • Offer assistancefrom prescriber decision to access, supporting the entire reimbursement journey through payer prior authorization to appeals/denials requirements, procedures and forms
  • Review patient-specific information in cases where the site has specifically requested assistance and patient health information is available in resolving any issues or coverage challenges
  • Educate physician office staff on the use of the patient assistance programs and call-center support services, including web-based provider programs
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years' experience in public or private third-party reimbursement
  • Proven experience working with Hubs, in-depth knowledge on issues related to billing, coding, prior authorization / appeals across physician types different sites of care
  • Experience with Knowledge of commercial payers, Medicare plans and state Medicaid in geographic region
