A few details about the role:

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, evaluating and communication of human resource policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage escalated employee relations matters and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
• Audit licenses, training records and overdue tasks are completed and ensure data integrity in Workday.
• Responsible for attending community meetings on recruiting and Workday updates.
• Assist in managing open positions and requisitions.
• Provide support in leadership training, performance management, and talent acquisition processes.
• Provide on-site interim human resource director support during extended leaves or vacancies.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partners with the legal department as needed/required.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
• Position will require some outside travel that may be extensive during interim assignments.

And here's what you need to apply:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight to ten years human resources experience.
• Professional (CP, SCP, PHR, SPHR) HR certification preferred.
