Overview

Milton CAT is hiring a Sales Service Coordinator (SSC) to handle administrative tasks for equipment sales and rentals. Responsibilities include scheduling service, obtaining quotes, validating information, arranging transportation, and supporting internal departments. The SSC serves as the main liaison between the Sales and Service Departments.

Pay Rate: $24-$26 per hour based on location, education and experience.

Note: We are recruiting for one open position that could be based anywhere within our territory. We have advertised this position in multiple cities.

Responsibilities

  • Key point of contact between the Sales Department and the Service Department
  • Verifying Sales Order accuracy and coordinating deal sheets as well as Machine, Work Tool, and Kit compatibility
  • Obtaining machine prep quotes and work tool quotes for machine sale accuracy.
  • Ordering parts, procuring in stock work tools, and scheduling installation of parts/work tools on equipment
  • Utilizing AX to create CSRs (work orders) which communicate to the Service department how to prep a machine for sale or rental
  • Scheduling Shop and Field service with stores across Milton CAT's territory to meet customer and Sales Department needs
  • Coordinating trucking arrangements to and from customers as well as between Milton CAT store locations


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Required

  • Proficient in use of technology including Microsoft based programs (Skype, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent written (Email/text) and verbal (phone) communication skills.
  • Desire to assist in provide a high level of customer service to internal customers (Sales Reps/Sales Managers).
  • Ability to research specific machine sale prep requests for quoting purposes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and understand machine operation and work tool (bucket, thumb, hammer, grapple) operation concepts which will assist with prep coordination/scheduling.
  • Self-motivated with the desire to minimize issues during the sales, prep, and delivery process - providing creative solutions/options to Salesmen and Sales Managers to problems that arise.

Preferred

  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • Customer service background.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment or construction equipment management.
  • Knowledge or background in project management - short term less than 1 week, and long term 2 month+.
  • Knowledge or background in heavy hauling, load planning, or other transportation related topics.
