Location: 359 Lowell St. Elyria, OH
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm, Friday, 7:00am - 2:00pm FLSA: Nonexempt
Job Duties Schedule large shipments per customer or internal instruction. Understand customer purchase orders and create a daily production schedule in Fishbowl. Use Fishbowl to create packslips and invoices for all shipments. Fishbowl will be used for all UPS shipments. Ensure quality of shipments. Responsible for investigating any material discrepancies and reporting findings to the Elyria Management. Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them with Elyria Management. Work with the rest of the team to ensure that due dates are met. Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping reports for managers. Completes all purchase orders for customers for labels and polybags. Create UPC codes on labels and print all labels using Easy Label and Label Live. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner with VGS staff and program participants. Complies with Safety and Security Policy, Ethics Policy and Substance Abuse Policy. Must be punctual and maintain satisfactory attendance according to Personnel Policies. Qualifications
EDUCATION Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree (B. A.) with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED required. One to two years' experience with inventory management is preferred. Should be able to effectively work in a computerized environment using accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Fishbowl Inventory Management System is preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
