The Program Planner is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office a minimum of 4 days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Carrollton, TX.

ABOUT THE JOB:

As a member of the Foodservice headquarters team, the Program Planner ensures that adequate inventory of all new or promotional products is available at all Foodservice locations to support the marketing efforts of our customers. They routinely handle seven-figure dollar expenditures and, accordingly, have a high level of responsibility for customer satisfaction and retention.

Purchase or monitor the purchase of all items across all divisions in support of chain promotional efforts.
Work with chain restaurant customers related to promotions and menu changes; review and monitor new item/vendor setup requests.
Determine franchise- and store-level participation in promotions and special product offerings.
Analyze and load promotional forecast data into purchasing system; identify forecast or promotional inventory build concerns.
Thoroughly communicate timing and special circumstances associated with promotions, new items, item replacements, limited-time offers, and toy items.
Oversee billing and collection of funds due resulting from inventory transfers, storage fees, product recalls, vendor shipping errors, and other circumstances.
This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of purchasing experience in a high-volume, high inventory turn environment.
Prior procurement, operations, or sales experience in the foodservice environment.
Strong computer literacy with specific attention to spreadsheet skills.

Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
