About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager - Order to Cash to join our global Order to Cash (OtC) team. In accordance with Siemens and Brightly standards, you will take charge of developing best-in-class processes, driving automation, and championing digitalization to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow from order intake to cash collection. This global role will report directly to the Head of Accounting and OtC, offering high visibility within both the Brightly and Siemens organizations.

As a key player in the finance team, the ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for process improvement, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment. This role requires consistent collaboration with external partners and cross-departmental teams to initiate and maintain strong relationships.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with team members and departments across Brightly and Siemens to continuously enhance process efficiency and quality through automation, ongoing process improvements and/or new tools selection and implementation.
  • Drive process and quality control to ensure a seamless customer experience from the order through invoice and cash collection, working closely with the managers of our global Order Operations / Billing team and global Cash Collections team.
  • Leverage your in-depth understanding of transaction workflows from order to cash, balancing standardization with flexibility to adapt to customer requirements if needed.
  • Help assess and drive the implementation of system changes as required due to global or local changes in regulations or process improvements. This may involve an overhaul of the current systems or the implementation to an SAP environment.
  • Lead process optimizations around the reporting of departmental performance using KPIs for senior management, as well as delivering ad-hoc presentations that analyze financial trends and support the forecasting process.
  • Ensure a process landscape to adhere to the Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS) particularly in the areas of order processing, revenue recognition and necessary trade receivable allowances for the Brightly accounting department.
  • Enable the seamless integration of future acquisitions and establishing state-of-the-art processes for growth in additional regions.

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or suitable majors
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management, including the use of tools like Asana, Smartsheet, etc. to manage projects & all relevant tasks preferably in a software business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as strong presentation skills
  • Adequate Microsoft skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint), especially to analyze extensive data and present in a concise way
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce), billing and collection systems (e.g., Lockstep)
  • Solid understanding of US-GAAP or IFRS for this area of responsibilities
  • Must be able to excel in a fast-paced, goal oriented and driven environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while working independently
  • Positive, can-do attitude and passion for details and cross-functional collaboration
  • Prior experience in working as part of a global team

The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $153,720. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
