What You'll Do

  • Manage various size and complexity projects from inception through to install and commissioning
  • Develop budgets, schedules, procedures, and safety measures for projects
  • Work with operations and maintenance teams to define design scope and requirements
  • Report project status to operations and maintenance management
  • Design and/or supervise detailed engineering of projects
  • Communicate with suppliers and contractors to negotiate contracts / purchase orders, oversee permitting, manage construction, etc. as required
  • Provide leadership in all matters relating to project and construction management
  • Coordinate and account for any changes in scope of work
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project

What You'll Need

  • Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and common industrial applications and processes
  • 3+ years in a mechanical, electrical, project management or construction field preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and diagrams
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented, organized and self-starter
  • Willing to learn; enjoys tackling new challenges
  • Works well with team members or independently; gives and receives feedback in a constructive manner
  • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Proficient with AutoCAD or other CAD programs preferred

Your Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering college or university
