What You'll Do Manage various size and complexity projects from inception through to install and commissioning Develop budgets, schedules, procedures, and safety measures for projects Work with operations and maintenance teams to define design scope and requirements Report project status to operations and maintenance management Design and/or supervise detailed engineering of projects Communicate with suppliers and contractors to negotiate contracts / purchase orders, oversee permitting, manage construction, etc. as required Provide leadership in all matters relating to project and construction management Coordinate and account for any changes in scope of work Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project What You'll Need Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and common industrial applications and processes 3+ years in a mechanical, electrical, project management or construction field preferred Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and diagrams Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal Detail oriented, organized and self-starter Willing to learn; enjoys tackling new challenges Works well with team members or independently; gives and receives feedback in a constructive manner Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Proficient with AutoCAD or other CAD programs preferred Your Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering college or university We are CMC, a Fortune500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
