JOB SUMMARY:

This is a full-time, year-round position. This position assists in unloading railcars, loading trucks at bulk Portland cement facility.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but not limited to):



  1. Unloading railcars. Loading trucks. Operate equipment.
  2. Basic maintenance. Assist with the daily clean-up.
  3. Be willing to work at various locations doing a wide variety of tasks at Fairbanks Block & Building Materials and Fairbanks Precast & Rebar.
  4. Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and Shop/ Yard Foremen.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening prior to employment and will be subject to random drug tests.
  • Must adhere to all safety requirements, procedures and company policies.
  • Must be dependable and hardworking with a positive team attitude.
  • Must have the physical fitness strength to lift 70 pounds and stamina to work on feet for prolonged periods and agility for repetitive work.
