Job Purpose

This role will be required to be onsite working on a hybrid schedule out of global Corporate headquarters in Reading, PA. REMOTE-only work is not being considered at this time for this role.

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) Administrator to join our team and drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales and marketing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, an understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation and the ability to communicate and train with non-technical users on the platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless integration, automation, and data flow between Salesforce and Pardot, supporting lead management, sales enablement and marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Salesforce CRM (50%):

  • Perform Salesforce configuration and customization to including (but not limited to): objects, flows, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Ensure compliance with security policy through profiles, roles and permission sets
  • Configure relationships between objects, such as lookups and master-detail relationships, to model real-world data interactions
  • Design and generate reports and statistics that support better decision making and process improvement within the organization - including sales forecasting, win/loss analysis, market trend analysis, etc
  • Enforce data governance practices to ensure data accuracy and quality through deduplication, clean-up strategies, and validation rules
  • Test, validate and document Salesforce modifications and enhancements
  • Liaise with people and groups from all aspects of the EnerSys organization to gather and prioritize new requirements from all Lines of Business. This includes BPOs, Champions, SMEs and Users. Examples include sales reps and customer service
  • Experience with full system development life cycle methods for developing business software solutions.

Salesforce and Pardot Automation & Integration (25%):

  • Salesforce Sync: Managing how Pardot syncs with Salesforce objects like Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, and Campaigns
  • CRM Alignment: Ability to align Salesforce user permissions, roles, and marketing data flow with Pardot
  • Data Flow Management: Identifying problems in data syncing, form errors, or campaign tracking
  • API Setup and Configuration: Proficiency in setting up and configuring Salesforce and Pardot to connectors (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Maintain data integrity while adhering to privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA
  • Develop ROI and Campaign Influence reports to evaluate marketing effectiveness
  • Utilize advanced tools like B2B Marketing Analytics for in-depth reporting and insights

Training & Instructional Skills (25%):

  • Live Training Sessions - Lead team training workshops and one-on-one coaching
  • Hands-On Learning - Providing real-time exercises in a sandbox environment
  • Creating Training Materials - Developing best practice guides, video tutorials, and FAQs
  • Feedback & Assessment - Collecting feedback and measuring user competency
  • Relationship Building - Maintain regular check-ins with sales teams to foster adoption and troubleshoot

Additional Skills:

  • Self-starter and independent problem solver
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Explaining complex features in simple, clear terms to non-technical users but also able to communicate business and technical requirements for development and user stories.
  • Active & Empathetic Listening - Understanding users' pain points and addressing their specific needs. Recognizing different learning curves and adapting the training/approach
  • Strong analytical/problem solving experience to deal with complex business problems. This includes risk definition, establishing quality controls, and implementation solutions
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proven ability to conduct effective meetings and presentations
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a certified Salesforce Administrator.
* Expertise in Pardot automation and Salesforce-Pardot integration.

* Education and/or Experience: 4-year bachelor degree or equivalent
Preferred:
* Salesforce Advance Administration Certification
* 2+ years of experience with Salesforce as an administrator or similar CRM Experience
* Strong proficiency in Salesforce tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
* 1+ year(s) of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
* 1+ year(s) of experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning
* Training Experience
Language Skills: English
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Salesforce Administrator Certification required

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 10%
