Overview We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven Marketing Manager to join our team at New York Blood Center Enterprises / Community Blood Center Kansas City/ Nebraska Community Blood Bank. In this role, you will partner with colleagues across the Enterprise to implement national campaigns at a local level. You will also plan and execute local campaigns, promotions, and events for blood and platelet donors, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience that drives donor retention and satisfaction. Supervision Exercised: Supervision Received: Position Distinction: Potential for career ladder which could ultimately result in primary responsibility for identifying and developing marketing strategies for NYBCe. **Location Specific Details: This position will be based in Kansas City with periodic travel to our Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska markets. Responsibilities Essential Function: * Campaign Implementation: Collaborate with colleagues across Donor Engagement and the organization to lead and/or localize and implement national marketing campaigns. Tailor strategies to meet the unique needs of the local community while aligning with the Enterprise goals. Qualifications Education & Experience: Education: Experience: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge: Knowledge of traditional and marketing strategies and trends. Familiarity with the local service areas (Kansas City and Nebraska). Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, project management system). Skills & Abilities: * Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and with authority in various settings, including one-on-one and small group environments. Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Proven ability to interpret data and apply it to marketing strategies, driving effective decision-making and impactful outcomes. Demonstrated experience in cultivating media relationships and confidently speaking to the media, serving as an organizational spokesperson. Experience in planning and managing events, ensuring successful execution and positive donor engagement. Meticulous attention to detail in all work processes, ensuring accuracy and high-quality outcomes. High level of interpersonal skills to manage complex issues with poise, tact, and diplomacy, effectively interacting with staff at all levels, including executive leadership. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders in a courteous, respectful, and sensitive manner, particularly in diverse environments. Ability to train and coach others within the organization on marketing programs and related communications, ensuring consistent and effective application across teams. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, maintaining productivity and focus in high-stress situations. Strong logical and reasoning skills to identify and analyze problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions within established policies and procedures. Ability to plan and organize tasks and resources efficiently, ensuring timely completion of projects and initiatives. Proactive in addressing issues and concerns. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple competing tasks and demands while maintaining high performance. Familiarity with blood donation or healthcare environments is an advantage, contributing to a deeper understanding of the organization's mission and goals. |
