General Information: The Office of Residence Life at James Madison University is accepting applications for a Full-Time Hall Director. The Office of Residence Life is committed to designing and maintaining a caring environment that encourages academic success, respect, personal growth, and responsibility to one's community. Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership, Management, and Supervision - Directly supervise 11-18 Resident Advisers (RAs). manage hall staff performance, student development, student leadership, student conduct, and hall community engagement. Provide written performance evaluations twice per year for RAs. Participate in all recruitment, selection and training processes for RAs, including instructing a one-credit RA class. Implement check-in and check-out procedures. Potentially collaborate with a live-in Faculty in Residence member. Qualifications: Required:
