In the Professional Services Contracting Team as an Administrative Analyst (Contract Analyst/Specialist), you will be part of a team performing duties to administer the solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Qualification), selection, and contract award/administration process.

You will analyze, prepare, develop solicitations, contracts, and specifications; monitor project plans, tasks, work breakdown structures, cost estimates, budgets, schedule performance, deliverables, and resources; issue and facilitate solicitation and award process; perform contract administration activities, review corresponding documents, and generate reports. You may also be conducting research and analysis in a variety of areas, preparing written reports, presenting findings and recommendations, and making presentations.

The Administrative Analyst must use initiative and judgment in providing support on (time sensitive) assignments in our collaborative environment. You will demonstrate your ability to build strong working relationships, communicate effectively, be attentive to detail, strong organization skills, and effectively work in a partnership environment is important for this department.

Schedule: 44/36, Monday through Friday /Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday.

Hybrid: Metropolitan's current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years relevant experience; or four years as a MWD Administrative Assistant III.

Relevant Experience is defined as: contract/project management and purchasing experience in the acquisition of services, through issuance of solicitations (Request for Proposals (RFPs) and/or Request for Qualifications (RFQs), award/negotiation of agreements, and contract administration/support activities.
