Overview
SCCI is looking for an experienced and motivated Director ofInformation Technology to join our Leadership Team. The Director position will lead a team of information technology professionals responsible for attaining and maintaining CMMC Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO) certification while ensuring all network computing systems and equipment operate effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will demonstrate detailed knowledge of IT best practices in the government contractor industry and a proven track record managing personnel, projects and resources to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. This position offersflexible hours and a hybrid work schedule with up to 40% work-at-home and the remainder in-office at our Dahlgren, VA facility. Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement IT policies, operational procedures and controls that meet CMMC requirements and enable Level 2 C3PAO certification
- Develop and maintain SCCI's information technology roadmap that addresses future information technology needs, identifies emerging technologies and mitigates cybersecurity risks
- Propose IT and cybersecurity solutions meeting regulatory frameworks including HIPPA, PCI and PII
- Evaluate products that are compliant with government regulations covering Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR) both on site and within the FedRAMP marketplace
- Prepare cost-effective annual budget inputs that align with the information technology roadmap
- Monitor and control indirect spending within budgetary parameters
- Ensure maximum up time of all servers, software, and operating systems to include monitoring and reporting of system performance
- Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Ensure all IT and external partner activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
- Maintain network disaster recovery and incident response plans and backup procedures
- Work with outside vendors, upper management, and leadership of other departments to ensure the business minimizes redundancies and supports the organizational mission
- Identify risks and deliver mitigation strategies and contingency planning for all aspects of the information management system
- Manage IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance
- Plan and schedule project guidelines and goals while meeting timelines and budgets
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's (BS) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience managing both on-premises and FedRAMP-authorized cloud IT infrastructure and services
- Ten (10)or more years' experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office 365 GCC-High software licensing and all components of the environment including SIEM, MDM and MFA
- Possess, and maintain, an approved DoD 8140 certification (Sec+, CISM, CASP+)
- Management and leadership skills
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
