Sorting Supervisor

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following:

* Coordinates the Quarantine (manual sorting) and Assembly schedules and activities to ensure required work is completed in a timely manner, and ready for the next operation.

* Ensures tasks, schedules, and work are performed, reported, communicated, and documented in a timely manner.

* Work with management to develop and set-up required Quarantine and Assembly operations to meet customer requirements.

* Create personnel schedule and manning level to meet annex targets based on backlog and customer needs.

* Evaluate Sorting and Assembly associate performance and abilities to ensure each is achieving maximum potential.

* Responsible for adherence to all applicable documented procedures and instructions as related to CSP and Quarantine/Assembly areas.

* Leads/supervises the productivity and performance of Quarantine/Assembly associates.

* Attend annex production meetings. Communicate with department leads to identify production issues or needs.

* Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Qualifications/Education/Special Skills

* 4 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment required

* 2 years of leadership experience with 5 or more direct reports preferred

* Experience in SAP preferred

* Background in scheduling, hiring, counseling, and training associates preferred

* Ability to follow through with instructions within department
