Job Description:

Scope:

  • The Production Control Supervisor will monitor all critical building KPIs to ensure efficient, timely, and first rate quality objectives are met. The Production Control Supervisor will develop improved forecasting methodology, monitor current production objectives and oversee strategic growth initiatives. The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for managing Weekly Cycle Counts and Year End Physical Inventory process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the assigned unit through effective selection, training and evaluation of members and through effective delegation and follow-up of tasks.
  • Supports schedules and helps assigns work across the departments to regulate workflow and meet required schedules.
  • Generate, and manage, a rolling forecast methodology to help drive long term department scheduling efficiencies.
  • Work with the Sr. Operations Managers to monitor critical building KPIs and report out on KPIs as requested to the senior leadership team.
  • Provide updates to Customer Service and other departments on job status as requested.
  • Supports Customer Calls, and Open Order Reports as needed
  • Prepare weekly Factory Load report and present to the leadership team.
  • Enforces departmental policies and helps ensure procedures are accurate and always being followed.
  • Provide technical and analytical support for all product and processes, respectively
  • Generates, accumulates, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.
  • Immediately communicates any safety or environmental concerns to management as well as recommendations for solutions.
  • Responsible for environmental, safety and general housekeeping of the department, for the adherence to the quality and continuous improvement policy of the department, for emergency response efforts and evacuation of building personnel, and responsible during an emergency.
  • Responsibilities include the reporting of all accidents, near misses and safety concerns. Perform their job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and alerts. Full participation and support in all DuPont Reviews
  • Facilitates and attends meetings (shift start, EHS, QRT, MRT, etc), communicates regularly with managers and supervisors, suggests and composes procedural changes, attends special training, maintains a clean, safe work environment.
  • Monitors and approves attendance in KRONOS, including scheduled PTO and ensures adherence to the Attendance Policy. Issues disciplinary warnings when required.
  • Ensure all necessary documents, files and employees records and information are protected and kept confidential
  • Communicates regularly to Supervisors and Managers, suggests and composes procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates to Supervisors' safety hazards and issues.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong leadership and time management skills; ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and process control.
  • Proven project and departmental budgeting management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting information to Sr. Leadership teams.
  • React quickly to day-to-day problems with timely solutions.
  • Ability to make decisions fast and under pressure.
  • Hands on with analytical approach to process and mechanical problems.
  • Have good reading vision, hearing perception, and able to speak clearly.
  • Works up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, and is flexible to work on weekends.
  • Standing up to 8 hours per day, ability to lift 45 lbs., ability to walk, no respiratory issues
  • Has fine motor skills and rapid mental-muscular coordination
  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.

Education and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 years' experience within a technical and/or production environment strongly preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
