This position reports to the SCHIP Compliance Director and would be a key position on the SCHIP Compliance Team. The account manager attends new client implementation meetings, assist clients/carriers with registration with The Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services "CMS" and tracks their registration to ensure it remains active. Creates client program rules for reporting in a proprietary application. Has interaction with clients, carriers, adjusters, external vendors and CMS.
- Meet with Crawford and Broadspire clients for new accounts or accounts that are leaving with regard to the CMS (Medicare) RRE ID - Responsible Reporting Entity to be sure the clients' are successfully registered for reporting with Medicare.
- Attend implementation meetings with Clients Services and the Implementation Team
- Managed over 400 RRE ID's and ensure the RRE ID states up to date with Medicare to meet Federal government compliance.
- Setup in a table the appropriate Program Numbers with the RRE ID, perform testing, and ensure we are reporting correctly.
- Escalate and work with Client Services Account Executives to ensure their respective clients are compliant with government regulations.
- Attain Section 111 Mandatory Insurance Reporting knowledge understanding the guidelines and regulations.
- Partner with others on the SCHIP Compliance Team on both technical matters and client issues.
- Completion of a college or university degree in business, business administration, insurance or related field or 3-4 years experience in insurance, within a business analyst capacity, and/or claim systems or the equivalent in related work experience.
