Executive Assistant to the CEO

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO at Myriad Genetics. This pivotal role requires an individual with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills to ensure the efficient operation of the CEO's office. As a trusted partner, the Executive Assistant will handle a wide range of administrative duties, coordinate strategic initiatives, and facilitate smooth interactions across the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, all while maintaining the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibility



  • Provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the executives including extensive and complex scheduling, as well as detailed travel plans and meeting agendas.
  • Provide administrative support to other members of executive staff.
  • Prepare expense reports and reconcile bills.
  • Manage multiple calendars; plan and schedule meetings with internal as well as external participants.
  • Make high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company, including scheduling meetings; working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; and exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Edit and create professional presentations and project plans.
  • Ensure that all company information - strategy, plans, proposals, quotes, and clinical information is kept completely confidential.
  • Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals.


Qualifications



  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in similar high-level administrative position.
  • Ability to develop, implement and understand general company operations, work flows and procedures as appropriate.
  • Excellent computer skills required including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Project and advanced PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of databases such as Access or Oracle desirable.
  • Strong organization, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem solving skills; ability to quickly arrive at appropriate solutions to problems.
  • Ability to work independently; good judgment.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, but with the good judgment to know when to involve others or ask for guidance.
  • Relieve the Executive Officer of as much day-to-day work as possible; anticipate needs, and involve the people you support as appropriate to ensure synchronization of thoughts about work.
  • Professional, helpful, friendly approach to all interactions both internal and external.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness; ability to wear several hats and process multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information. Discretion is of utmost importance in this position.
  • Basic understanding of business law.
  • Experience in healthcare field preferred.
