Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Installer to join our Mock-Up team in Holland, MI.The schedule is 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. Overtime possible after 3:30pm or Saturdays if needed.

As an Installer you will:

Ensurethe smooth functioning of Haworth's facilities by conducting installation, tear down & assembly, maintenance tasks, and other facilities services tasks.Utilizeyour knowledge of facilities services best practices to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Functions

  • Install furniture and products: Install furniture and architectural products, following installation instructions and ensuring proper assembly and functionality
  • Conduct mock ups and installation for HQ, Showrooms & Customers: Showcasing product features and installation techniques
  • Coordinate power distribution: Coordinate power distribution for furniture systems, ensuring proper electrical connections and functionality
  • Inspect and maintain facilities: Inspect and maintain facilities, performing minor repairs and ensuring a safe and presentable environment
  • Train and mentor installers: Assist with training and mentoring lower-level installers on installation procedures and best practices
  • Utilize technical documentation: Utilize technical documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and installation manuals
  • Communicate with stakeholders: Communicate effectively with customers, designers, and other stakeholders regarding installation projects.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Education Equivalency:

    • Relevant certification or vocational training.





Work Experience:



  • 1 year related experience
  • Military Equivalency: https://www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military



Additionally:



  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reading drawings and prints
  • Installation or mechanical skills

Environmental / Physical Requirements

  • Driving (3 or 4 wheeled carts, golf carts, fork truck, reach truck, company vehicle)
  • Climb/bend/balance/twist/reach/lift
  • Regular hand & arm movements
  • Use hand tools weighing approx. 5 - 10 lbs
  • Lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs
