Curriculum Developer
Camp Pendleton, CA Summary:
The Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM-AAA) New Equipment Training Team (NETT) is seeking a highly skilled Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and refine training materials in support of ground combat operations. The ideal candidate will create comprehensive courses, ensure relevancy in training materials, and contribute to the development of doctrinal publications and warfighting concepts. Job Duties:
- Design complete training materials encompassing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) relevant to ground combat operations.
- Develop full-length training courses and review existing instructional materials for relevance and effectiveness.
- Identify and construct tactical architectures to support evolving warfighting concepts, capabilities, and techniques.
- Collaborate with designated organizations to develop and refine doctrinal publications, manuals, and system/equipment documentation.
- Ensure alignment of training content with current operational requirements, emerging threats, and evolving doctrine.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to integrate real-world operational experiences into training programs.
- Maintain consistency with military standards, instructional methodologies, and best practices for training development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in curriculum development for military or defense-related training programs.
- Knowledge of ground combat operations, tactics, and doctrinal development.
- Familiarity with instructional design models, learning management systems (LMS), and courseware development tools.
- Ability to collaborate with military personnel, stakeholders, and other training professionals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in military training development or doctrine writing.
- Experience working with the U.S. Marine Corps or other military branches.
- Knowledge of Advanced Amphibious Assault platforms and systems.
- Have attended USMC Curriculum Developers Course

Travel Required: Yes 10% Working Environment: The usual daily work conditions will be in an office environment located at Camp Delmar, Camp Pendleton, CA. The job requires occasional lifting of computer and other equipment, generally not in excess of 50 lbs., usually in connection with equipment transport to off-site locations for exercise events. The exercise support staff typically travels with a low degree of frequency. Travel to training exercise locations regularly includes CONUS.
