About Lakewood Regional Support Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications. Purpose: The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst role is responsible for the Business Intelligence team providing operations and analytical support for Regional Executives and all properties at Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando. This role requires a high level of technical excel and data software expertise, attention to detail, the drive to acquire knowledge, and an adaptable perspective to collect, analyze, and present data. Exceptional communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executives to aid business performance and strategic decision-making. - Directly manages the Jr Business Intelligence Analyst
- Oversees high level strategic and tactical decisions for business intelligence tools and applications
- Facilitates organizational data strategies for governance, design, implementation, integration and usage
- Identifies, researches, and resolves analytical and strategic problems
- Ensures the use of Business Intelligence applications to enhance business decision-making capabilities
- Executes innovative and effective data and analytics solutions to unique or complex business challenges and opportunities in support of targeted business priorities and objectives
- Provides input to strategic decisions that affect functional area of responsibilities
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations, and requiring coordination with other departments
- Designs strategy for development of actionable, insightful metrics for external and internal stakeholders
- Partners with senior management to understand and deliver performance insights and key analytics solutions
- Informs and challenges the business around current trends in consumer expectations and new developments in products, business models, operating models and technology
- Works closely with the functional leaders in Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Strategies, that support the needs of growth and align the data vision to the overall strategy of the Company
- Champions the use of data analytics to solve business problems, using reporting and visualization tools; proactively emphasizes the importance of data analytics. Recommends new approaches to affect continued improvements.
- Ensures daily, weekly, and monthly reporting provided to all business leaders is consistently accurate and on time
- Ensures reporting environments are built and maintained properly to enable modern information delivery
- Expertise in overseeing projects, partnering with stakeholders and senior leaders
- Communicates complex data in comprehensible ways using visualization tools
- Conducts ad-hoc projects, reports, and analyses
- Collaborates as a thought partner with the Area Managing Director and Senior Vice President to expand and execute on the vision and strategy for the company
- Establishes standard reporting and analytical guidelines and practices across the organization for both the BI team and cross-functional subject matter experts

- Skilled to manage capital reporting and coordination of information flow for projects
- Business leader with strong business acumen who has translational capabilities between data analytics and business questions Expertise in overseeing projects, partnering with stakeholders and senior leaders
- Demonstrated business experience providing thought leadership as a trusted cross-functional partner
- Strong detail-orientation with a penchant for data accuracy
Required Qualitfications:
- Minimum five years progressive hotel management/reservations experience or related analytical experience
